Does anyone know how work on LDAP is proceeding? I have emailed maintainer with no reply yet, but realise that we are all too busy!

if you really need such a feature, you could think about sponsoring/founding it

2. Do you mean bugs.contribs.org? I've had a look and it seems rather fragmentary, though there is some recent action.
3. Yes, would like the feature, and would be prepared to sponsor. Said that in email to maintainer. Who can I say it to who might do something?
