Title: folder sync and contribs

First:  How does one enable 7.4 contribs on 8b3 server?
Second: How does one sync 2 folders together (ie an anon ibay/files with anon user /home)?

SME server has no such software.

I don't know exactly what you want or what software might do it for you.

I cannot see how an ibay or a user home directory could be 'anon'.

Follow the install steps in existing howtos or contrib wiki articles.
Note that no contribs are yet officially released for sme 8 as it is still in beta.
See this article for a list of contribs that appear to work OK.
Other contribs may work OK but have not yet been tested on sme8betaX by anyone.
Some contribs may need modification in order to work correctly on sme8.

well one user is anon and the other is anon_ibay

I was just looking for a couple lines of script that I could add into I think CRON?

Permissions and ownership of files in ibays and user home folders are very different. Even if you sync the contents, different users will not be able to access the files. You need to rethink your approach.
