Title: Sark PBX integrating with OCS R2 using OPENSIPS
Post by: waqasbj on February 16, 2010, 06:26:45 PM
Hi Guys,

Just wondering if someone has tried integrating SarkPBx with OCS yet. I am in a process of integrating but stuck in between. I am using OpenSIPS as media converter. OCS R2 supports SIP OVER TCP or TLS while SARK only support SIP over UDP so i have to use OpenSIPS as a media converter. I am done configuring mediation server(OCS) and open Sip but stuck  with trunking. Can anyone please tell me how i can create trunk in Sark. I know about general Trunking, it just the OCS trunk i am confused at.

Many thanks

Have you seen this article

It's using openser to do the UDP/TCP conversion  but the principle is the same.  You can define the sark trunk using a general sip trunk and the definition they show in the article.

To push a call to  OCS you will need to use a route to send the number out the OCS (OpenSIPS) trunk and a transformation (either in the SARK trunk or in openSIPS mainline) to transform the dialled number to E164 with a plus sign at the front (which OCS demands).

Let us know how you get on.

Kind Regards
