Title: modem per Hylafax

Ciao a tutti vorrei installare Hylafax ma non riesco ad installare il mio Agere sv92pp modem pci , qualcuno sa dirmi come ???

Compra un modem esterno su porta seriale, costa meno fatica e lo configuri in 2 minuti...

preferibilmente non un usr robotics.. su ebay ne trovi anche a 10 €

se il tuo server non ha una seriale (e mi preoccuperei), compra un aggeggio che fa seriale su ip

Ciao, direi che è meglio lasciar perdere i winmodem che con linux hanno assai casini, io ai tempi usavo il classico USRobotics su porta seriale (quello bianco da circa 80€ nuovo)

Grazie della info , nel frattempo ho provato con un modem Conexant e ho scaricato i driver da linuxant .Dopo aver installato hylafax mi da questi arrori:

2 anni fa avevo usato un hamlet simile a questo  http://www.twenga.it/prezzi-Skuba-HV92XCA-HAMLET-Modem-255610-0  e andava senza problemi...
con i modem usb e pci avevo alzato bandiera bianca.... ti consiglio di fare altrettanto...

Grazie per la pazienza e scusate la testardaggine con un modem pci ( Atlantis Land a01-pp2 ). 8)
