Title: Error 403 to ibay

I was setting up eGroupware on my Sme 8 B 5 server, and the steps included the following:

mydomain=egroupware.rburnsplumbing.com
db domains setprop $mydomain Content egw/1.6/egroupware
db domains setprop $mydomain WebApp yesThat didn't work, and I felt that my installation may ahve failed twice in a row, but then I tried the following:

mydomain=rburnsplumbing.com
db domains setprop $mydomain Content egw/1.6/egroupware
db domains setprop $mydomain WebApp yes... and it did open up. Which says there is something wrong with my subdomain and the way I set it up. Understandable. Now my issue is, when I went into the server manager to change my primary domain, rburnsplumbing.com back to the website ibay, it was forbidden. Then I figure I would backtrack and ...

db domains setprop $mydomain WebApp yesAnd it still is displaying "Forbidden: Restricted access to / on this server."
Also, in server manager, it showed that the primary domain was set to website i-bay as well as /home/e-smith/files/ibays/website/html.
Any idea, or command line coding I could use to set the location of my primary domain.
Oh yea, I even tried making a symbolic link in the opt folder, seeing that "egw/1.6/egroupware" worked, and it was linked to the html file in my website ibay. But that still did not do the trick. Even if I makeup a directory, such as /opt/testing, and copy my index.html to that location. Set the primary domain to that location using the same code above, it still doesn't work. Now the only directory it works in is "egw/1.6/egroupware"

***UPDATE***

I fixed the problem. Went according to http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,33527.msg143087.html#msg143087
Basically, reconfigure your server with a makeup domain name, reboot. Do it again with your real domain, and you are back up and running. Then you can go to server manager and reset the i-bay used. A good tip to remember that I read in Announcements Don't search using the google bar at the top, click the magnifying glass to search. That's the best way to search.

Now I just need to find the correct way to create a subdomain. That way I can get to egroupware.rburnsplumbing.com.

See, cactus; mary; stefano. I did it. I solved my first case, even though it was my own case. I'm starting to pull my own weight around here. LOL  :lol:

does not seem to resolve externally
Suggest you check external DNS & zone record setup.
It must still be a properly setup and registered domain name in order to be externally accessible.
