hi Maurizio, welcome here (are you italian? if so, please come to italian language forum too, thank you)
some questions:
1) what do you mean with "due to a failure in the repo configuration"? what kind of error/failure did you have?
2) did you take a look to the log files?
-
Excuse me, i've missed to paste the link referring to the trouble in the repo files, it is a trouble that the wiki of the contrib talk about.

PD: I'm not italian, I am uruguayan, but my great-grandparents came form Italy.

Here the errors.
[Thu Apr 08 11:51:06 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] at /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/cgi-bin/cups line 33, referer: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/server-manager/navigation
[Thu Apr 08 11:51:06 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of script headers: cups, referer: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/server-manager/navigation
I've found that changing the language of my navigator to us, (FF 3.6.3), I can act in the panel correctly. I do not try yet accessing cups web.
I will report that bug in the bug tracker.
Thank you for your help.
