Title: E-mail addresses bounce back
Post by: Dan Williams on June 20, 2002, 10:19:23 PM
Hi,
We have our ESmith 5.1.2 set up, and use it for hosting our own mail etc.
Our primary address can send and recieve e-mail no problem.
So, I give a new user his own 123@123.com e-mail address, and he can send, but is unable to recieve. For example if a person outside our organization tries to send this 123@123.com an e-mail, it ends up coming to the admin account, because the mail servers say that the 123@123.com  is no good.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Dan

Do you have the user configured for "Deliver e-mail locally" in the user configuration panel?  I would begin by checking that to ensure you have not inadvertently selected "Forward to the address below".
