i install sme 7.5 I6
in server hp g5 ןhelp to install rmp error: Failed dependencies

You could be more verbose about your problem... even a bad english is not excuse to do not be cooperative.
you just do not let us know about WHAT package has dependencies failed!
BUT... I presume you´re trying to install a rhel5 package on a rhel4 system (sme 7.x).
If you need rhel5 compatibility, please try on SME8b5 (BETA! but working for a lot iof people!)

You will need to upgrade your SME7.5 to SME8beta5 release.
Download the iso, burn a CD and upgrade your system, see

If you prefer to use SME 7.5 you must to accept to use kernel from Centos 4.x (source of SME 7.x) ... and that is 2.6.9.x
If you install a newer kernel (2.6.18.x) on SME 7.x you are by your own hands... good luck for you.
OR
You can choose to use SME 8b5... with Centos 5.x kernel (2.6.18.x )...
Be our guest to choose and let us know what you got...
AFAIK you have no option... you use SME8 or pay someone with lots of knowhow to install and mantain your installation... when you mess with standart install of SME ( updated kernel or upgrade PHP for example) you get a non standard install... and that´s not for newbies ... even pros prefer do not follow this path!!

Mgb, please, please, please... you have been asked multiple times in this forum to formulate your questions more extensively.
Upgrade to SME 8 did not work
You also have been told multiple times that saying it does not work, does not give us any clue and we are unable to help you. You leave us guessing what might be the cause of your problem.
Please, when doing something that does not seem to work for you, describe in details what you did, things you should describe are in the line of the answer to the following questions:
- What commands you execute?
- What messages did you observe?
- What do you expect to happen?
- What do you see happening?
Please help yourself by helping us understand your problem. Without proper clues and information we are unable to provide you a proper solution.
One other tip: From my observation you seem to have many issues in administrating your SME Server. Most off them seem to be caused by the fact that you just start doing stuff without knowing what and why you do them.
I suggest you start using this forum and raise questions on how you should solve problems before you start on them as that might save you a lot of problems and frustration. I hope to see some more informative messages from you, so we can help you (better) in the future.
Another solution would be to find a consultant that has enough knowledge to help you and hire him/her to perform the administrative tasks on your system.

You´re welcome... but your english is a problem... do you speak another language than hebrew ?

Solution of the problem
In addition
Upgrade to SME 8 did not work
means nothing to me.
So let´s be VERBOSE. PLEASE, as cactus ask: explain all your problem and needs.
Remember we cannot see your screen and " do not work " means nothing.
If you insist to say that, I´ll start to answer "works for me"... both are true and help nothing to other part!

A lot better... a lot more verbose.
But we still do not have a cristall ball...and cannot help you if you do not show your exact problem.
So let me suggest you a example of useful post about your problem:
"this is my server (running in server-gateway/server-only mode)
(include here HW description) - including RAID by software or hardware and any other option you choose on install process.
I´m updated, see:
[root@lobo ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
(include here the output of this command on your system)
[root@lobo ~]# yum update
(include here whole message saying your server is updated)
And try to install this package as recommended by this URL (include URL), but got the error as seen below.
(include your commands to try install rpm package , the URL and the error message)
Can someone help me? thanks "
I hope to get a post this way (at least) to be able to help you. Cactus and others can append other instructions/tips about how to open a effective request for help!

mgb, with the upgrade from 7.5 to 8.0 you might be running into a bug that the repositories are incorrectly set and still point to SME Server 7. These bugs are already in the bug tracker:

http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5949
What does the following say on your server after upgrading?

mgb, I have asked you to answer a simple question. Why don't you do that instead of posting a lot of new information that has no context. Please answer my earlier question:

That is what I expected, they point to SME Server 7 repositories.
What is the output of the following:
cat /etc/redhat-release
-
# cat /etc/redhat-release
SME Server release 7.5
-
# cat /etc/redhat-release
SME Server release 7.5
If that is the case everything should be fine with your server, your repositories are configured for SME Server 7 which your machine is. So I am unsure why you named this topic:
"help hp-snmp-agents~hel5.i386.rpm"
as in all your posts you are referencing rhel4. If you are on SME Server 7.x as you seem to be you need the rhel4 version.
Now you need to find out what packages are needed for your version of the agents software. There is an instruction on the HP site you linked to in one of your earlier posts ( http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=428936&swItem=MTX-e1cce408d3dc490a9999f2d652&prodNameId=428935&swEnvOID=2025&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=1 ), could you please post the output of:
rpm -qp -–requires hp-snmp-agents-8.1.0-110.rhel4.i386.rpm
Judging from your earlier post you will at least need a package called hp-health:
--> Processing Dependency: hp-health for package: hp-snmp-agents
--> Processing Dependency: libhpasmintrfc.so.2 for package: hp-snmp-agents
--> Processing Dependency: libhpev.so.1 for package: hp-snmp-agents
--> Finished Dependency Resolution

You will need to download that as well as it does not seem available in your directory. Search for that package and download the rhel4 version. You probably will need some other packages as well. But please first post the output of the command I provided to you above.

Then it should be pretty simple on a fully up-to-date SME Server it shoud be:
Download hp-snmp-agents
Download hp-health
Then runyum localinstall hp-snmp-agents-8.5.0.17-19.rhel4.i386.rpm hp-health-8.5.0.23-23.rhel4.i386.rpm
That should install everything without problems as it does on my test server.
To be honest I think you should have been able to find this out yourself as the error message in one of your first posts already states what you are missing:
Error: Missing Dependency: hp-health is needed by package hp-snmp-agents
