So, I have 2 servers doing more or less the same job. One is running 7.3, the other 7.4. I recently set them both up to use an external mail relay to send mail. The 7.3 box did this fine, however, the 7.4 box is doing something a little odd and I can't figure out why. When sending mail out, it sends it out to ADDRESS@SERVERNAME.DOMAIN, which fails, because the address does not exist at SERVERNAME.DOMAIN, just @DOMAIN. As far as I can tell the qmail / server manager configuration is the same for both machines, any pointers or reccomendations as to what might be causing this?
Thanks.

I would guess that nobody has answered your query because it is a little vague. Firstly it contains deliberately obscured information. Secondly you say "it sends out to ..." - what is "it"? Whoever/whatever is generating these email messages you refer to is responsible for providing the correct recipient address.
Why are you not installing updates in your systems?
