Title: mail function broken

E-smith 5.0 w/blades 4.  Several packages running w/php mysql for my website.  All is running great... 'except' mail to/from with any package or webmail within my network does not work.

I am connecting with Cable (att), using E-smith for server-gateway.  Mail did work a year or so ago.  

I need some help troubleshooting this mail thing.  I just published my business site and realizedm that several functions (like phorum) need the mail to function properly in sending new users their passwords.

What configs can I post to help debug my problem?

Don't know that I'll be able to help much with this, but it would help out a lot if you could post exactly what you mean by "does not work".  Exact situations, error messages, etc. would make it much more likely that any help you get here would be in the right direction.

In use of any of the packages, i.e. mail from within phproject, phorum, phpBB, the mail 'says' it functioned correctly, yet no mail is ever sent or recieved.

I don't really get errors because all mail functions I have attempted have been from 'other'  packages.  

Which log files might I reference to mail errors?
