I've been getting the following error message on our SME Server 7.5 install for awhile now and I am not sure what it means or how to fix it.
Jun 24 15:21:21 scanserver smbd[5861]: [2010/06/24 15:21:21, 0] smbd/nttrans.c:call_nt_transact_ioctl(2463)
Jun 24 15:21:21 scanserver smbd[5861]: call_nt_transact_ioctl(0x900eb): Currently not implemented.
Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?
Thank You,
Jaysen

That doesn't quite solve my issue, but thanks.

If you report the problem in the BT, yes. If you don't want to resolve your issue, then don't report your issue in the BT. Good luck

You do not seem to be understanding the advice given.
If you want an answer to this, then lodge a bug at bugzilla.
The link is at the top of these forums.
You will need to create a new user account based on a valid email address.

Mary,
I understand quite clearly so please do not assume that I don't. I am not going to lodge a bug because I have not determined it to be a bug. It could be a configuration issue. I also do not need advice on how to use a forum as I administer several of them.
If you do not have the answer to my question then do not reply to me. Now I am done with with discussion because it's turned out to be pointless and all you have to contribute is useless advice that makes absolutely no sense. Whatever complex you might be dealing with that causes you to chastise me on a public forum I suggest you seek help for.
To Forum Administrator,
Please delete my account, I have no further need here because apparently I will not get the help I seek. I've already come up with my own solution to discontinue use of SME Server and go with a system I've built and customized myself since it offers me more flexibility than this software.
Have a nice day! :)

IMHO you are wrong and you are missing a point: everything that doesn't work out of the box should be investigated via bugzilla.. doing so, your problem could be solved and anyone that should have the same issue will find the solution
you are thinking only to your serve and yourself: please remember this is a community
finally, this is a forum and not an helpdesk, so you should really calm down and relax.
