Title: sme8 php5 performance vs sme 7.5 with phpchi contrib
Post by: jameswilson on June 25, 2010, 12:41:37 PM
After much fun upgrading a 7.5 xenserver guest to 8.0b5, (not supported by sme) i notice that performace of p[age generation is slower on sme8 then 7.5 with the php5cgi contrib.
Is this because its a beta or should ir be better, or should it be the same etc.

Is this because its a beta ...

PHP performance won't be any different when SME8 comes out of beta - unless RedHat make changes.

You would be better asking that in a PHP technical forum.
