I'm trying to set up a separate router box at our other office. I only have experience with a cable modem connection to SME, but only dialup is available there. Does SME support remote dial/hangup by the LAN users? It doesn't have to be anything fancy or web-based, just a Win9x method would be fine. Is http://www4.tpgi.com.au/users/dungog/sme/howto/isp.html (which isn't free) the only option? I don't need all of its options, just the ability to bring the connection up or down remotely.
I'm looking at Freesco right now, but sticking with SME would be nice...

after a year of looking dialmon was the best solution i found,
you can use it for free, i'm only charging for the time you save in configuration.
note. once you buy the ispconnection rpm you can use all the rpms

I'm working on DialMon, but I don't know Linux too well yet, so I'm not sure if I'm doing things the right way. I installed the RPM with the Update System panel, and edited the two config files. I'm not sure about having it start automatically though, and it doesn't look like my PC can connect to it... If anyone wants to offer tips, I'd be more than happy to accept them...
