Dear Friend, I'm not an expert in Linux, that is the reason that I'm asking you, I would like to know if exist a way to read all information in and SME 7.4 standard installation with a live Cd Linux distribution.
I got a crash in my SME 4 production server and I need to recover two important virtual machines created on this server.
If I will recover this, I will recover my job.
Thanks in advance,
Eviny

Hey man Thanks four your prompt answer, I do not really know this option in SME, can you provide me more details or a guide to see how can I use this command.
P.S. I would like to recover all information to another external usb disk, before use any command.
Again many thanks for your support.

plug in external hd
insert SME's cd
boot your server from cdrom
type
sme rescue
at boot prompt
follow on screen instructions.. be sure to mount (at least in read-only) your SME installation
now you should have access to your data;
create a dir in /mnt and mount usbdisk there
copy your data
