Title: Is dahdi necessary ?

Hi,

I changed from tdm400 to spa-3102, do I need dahdi anymore because I plan to install a new sme751 box (sail-2.6.1-3) ?

AFAIK, dahdi is still needed as a timing source for some functions (like conference). You just need to load dahdi_dummy if you don't need dahdi to control an hardware card.
