Title: sme server 8 beta 6 + kronolith

Ciao a tutti,
ho cercato di installare kronolith su sme server 8 beta 6 ma non c'è verso, ho cercato su Google e nel forum qualche indicazione ma non ho travoto nulla.
Qualcuno potrebbe darmi qualche piccola spiegazione.

sarebbe utile sapere cosa hai fatto e cosa non funziona :-)

comunque nella 8b6 non hai i contribs.. ergo devi configurarti il repo smecontribs come da apposite (http://wiki.contribs.org/SME8.0_Contribs_QA) istruzioni

Allora ho seguito le indicazioni ma quando da shell digito:

yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-kronolith

ottengo come risultato:

mi dici cosa hai fatto e dove si blocca?
hai letto il mio post precedente? ci sono tutti i passi che ho eseguito su uno SME8b6 attualmente in produzione (uso interno)

ho visto che tu sulprimo passaggio ottieni
smecontribs=repository

invece io ottengo

questo perchè facevo vedere di essere su una 8b6 con il repo che puntava alla 8 prima di cambiarlo alla 7

appena trovo 10 minuti installo una 8 e faccio di nuovo il test.. non trattenere il respiro, lo faccio tra oggi e domani

ok.. appena testato

1) assicurati con
Code: [Select]
db yum_repositories show smecontribs

che smecontribs punti alla versione 8
se non lo fosse:

db  yum_repositories setprop smecontribs MirrorList http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/mirrorlist/smecontribs-8


2) digita
Code: [Select]
db yum_repositories set smecontribs7 repository GPGCheck yes MirrorList http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/mirrorlist/smecontribs-7 Name 'SME Server7 - contribs' Visible no status disabled
NOTA: tutto su una riga ed occhio agli apici

3) dai un
Code: [Select]
signal-event yum-modify

ed attendi un paio di minuti (anche un po' di più, fai 5)

4) installa il contrib con
Code: [Select]
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs7 install smeserver-kronolith

enjoy

P.S. questo metodo è anche più pulito perchè ti lacia inalterato il repo smecontribs, ponendo meno problemi quando esso sarà definitivamente attivo
