In the top menu bar, choose Profile, the choose Account settings and on that page you should be able to reset your password when you are logged in as you say your browser is caching your password.

good thought Cactus,
but i tried that before posting (and just double checked before replying):
my password is remembered for login but not for that screen,
and of course I cannot copy/paste the **** that shows for the password.

But thanks for the thought

It's done just like most other systems

Select Logout
Then click on login
Then click on Forgot your password ?
Enter details requested
This will start the process

Well eventually you will and now you have, as do many other people I deal with.
Before you start forgetting other passwords, I suggest it's easy enough to make a file that contains all your passwords and login details for various purposes, and store it in a safe place on your server. Password protect that file if you consider it necessary.
You can VPN to it, store it on USB or email it to yourself so that it is accessible wherever you are.
