Title: Don't have permission to access server-manager, even from localhost
Post by: haymann on September 24, 2010, 09:29:51 PM
I have an old SME server that hasn't been touched in a long time. My problem with it is that I can't access server-manager even when using the Elinks text browser on the server itself... I am getting a 403 Forbidden page that says "You don't have permission to access /server-manager on this server."

When I first tried to access server-manager from a LAN system, I was getting a page not found error from an old Wordpress install. I have deleted that Wordpress instance, but now I get the forbidden message.

I have tried installing updates and doing the signal-event post-upgrade and signal-event reboot commands, but unfortunately that has not resolved the issue. I would appreciate any suggestions!

go to bugzilla, file a bug giving all the info you can (check httpd logs) and then report here the reference for future readers, thank you
