I've received calls from three different SME users today - 2 running 7.4 (1 running with Zararfa) and another running 7.5.1 - that mail from Gmail and Yahoo accounts are getting bounced with the following detail:
Remote host said: 550 Domains found in URLs in spam See: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?yahoo.com
Giving up on xxxxxxx.xxx
Or
Remote host said: 550 Domains found in URLs in spam See: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?gmail.com (state 14)
Giving up on xxxxxx.xxx
Is this a recent issue with Spamassassin identifying Gmail or yahoo main domains as SPAM senders?
-
this has nothing to do with spamassassin
follow the links and read, they will explain you why your server is blocking mail coming from those domains

So gmail.com and yahoo.com have been identified on sorbs.net as SPAMers or SPAM-vertizers. Or am I reading this incorrectly? Since I have RBLs enabled, and sorbs.net is one of the RBL list maintainers, those domains get rejected?

Take a look at a recent bug report on the topic re a corrupt database at sorbs.net, which is probably the same issue you are experiencing (Bug link at top of Forum). Disable the sorbs RBL (refer email FAQ) or just wait until sorbs fixes their database and those changes propagate to all servers. It is not a SME server problem.

This should be the bug Mary is referring to: http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6275
