rathindrasarkar: this is a forum, not an helpdesk.. you could't expect someone to solve your problem and send the answer via email.. :-)
I'd add that you are hijacking a topic, and this is the secont time, please stop.
if you need ssh on your windows pc, please take a look to (example):

I'm using the last one, works perfectly

Off-topic for this forum, which concerns SME server software installed from the SME server CDROM.

Is there a reason that you don't have PuTTY on your list?

Charlie.. I meant ssh SERVER :-)
I don't use windows at all ;-)

Ah, OK. That appears to be totally off-topic for this website, having nothing at all to do with SME server.

I know.. but we are in General Discussion

Thank you Stephano for your straight answer to my enquiry,
here in the General Discussion forum (Discussions about contribs.org,
Linux in general, and other topics that don't belong in the other forums.),
on an aspect derived from some earlier discussion of an apparently hijacked topic.
To tie this part of the thread specifically to SME the reason
for my interest is that to obtain SME server to M$ workstation
rsync (and similar) functionality needs something like CYGWIN
running on the win box. CYGWIN crashed my W2kPRO box. I've
now moved that workstation from W2kPRO to W7/64bit and
am interested whether I might be able to resurrect any of my
older projects to install specific workflow tasks between the
connection of my SME server and occasional M$ workstation.
Charlie, I can readily agree that PuTTY and its PAGEANT
authentication agent works brilliantly on my W7/64bit
workstation connecting to SME without apparent issue.
