Title: smeserver 8 driver vmware vmxnet3 ?vmtool?

anyone has experience for the network adapters vmware vmxnet3 on smeserver8?
if so,
could you indicate me the steps you take to the configuration

work fine for me.

Your life will be easier if you configure vmware to use the pcnet32 emulation.

vmxnet3 is more performing

I think it unlikely that you will notice the difference. If you care about every last % of performance, you would not be using virtualization anyway.

That is not completely true, some of the high end virtualization products support sharing resources over multiple hosts creating an even bigger beast than you could on one host.
