Is there any way to disable the automatically generated pseudonyms when a user is created?

Not many people find it annoying as we would have had a NFR by now. How many users are you talking about here out of interest?

We're talking about 15-20 users. I know it isn't much, but I was hoping to be able to disable the function.

Why is it annoying? Just ignore the pseudonyms. They won't bite you.

Yes it can, but only by code changes.
weblance could remove the code which adds the pseudonyms. Or he could add code which deletes them automically as they are added. But I don't think that's necessary. Just pretend that they don't exist.

Agreed, with a larger number of users this feature will shoot you in your own foot. For small offices, below 20 users this could work.
