Title: Hebrew domain name forbiden by the server
Post by: Amir Inbar on January 22, 2011, 03:52:49 PM
Hebrew domain names are starting to be handed out in Israel now days.
The registrars are using some kind of name conversation (i'm no expert but i think its standard: RFC3490, RFC3491 and RFC3492) that turns
"שרות.co.il"
 into
"xn--9db1bcg.co.il"
After setting the string xn--9db1bcg.co.il as a new domain in server-manager on SME 7.5.1, all browsing with ie or ff or gc gives an "http 403 forbidden".

Any idea how to solve this ?

It doesn't look like a bug, just something i probably do wrong so i post it here.
