Title: Radius Setup guide needed
Post by: superstoffer on February 01, 2011, 04:09:16 PM
Hello everybody,
I'm new to this forum and also new to SME Server. In our office we have configured a wifi with the following config:

ISP > Router in bridge mode > SME Server w. 2 network cards > Switch > Access Points (4 APs)

Currently people would need to use the same password to log on the wifi, but we will like them to use their SME username.
As far as I could read, this would require the use of Radius, but I can't find any step by step guides.

Can anybody help me with a step-by-step guide for this?

Sorry for wrong placement of the post.

Can anybody provide such a guide or point to a place where it is described?

Thank you for the pointer.
I have read that post, but I am not sure if I understand it correct.
If we have 4 APs - are we then supposed to make 4 subdomains, e.g. ap1.DOMAIN, ap2.DOMAIN, etc.?

Don't know, I've never used this feature, give it a go and report back your results :)
