Title: Help required in resolvng a glitch on 8b6
Post by: Parsival1973 on February 03, 2011, 08:53:43 PM
Toward the beginning of the week I had installed some updates indicated on the web console. When it completed I told it to  reconfigure but it did not seem to be executing the reboot itself. So I manually told it to reboot. After the reboot it appears as if neither of the Ehternet adapters are being loaded on startup. I have tried going into the console and reconfiguring the adapters there but that hasn't made any difference. I now can no longer enter that screen on the console and if I try to use any signal-event commands i get the following error /dev/log is not a socket at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/esmith/Logger.pm at line 42

I have tried searching for some information on this and turned up nothing. Help would be appreciated.

Thank You
