Title: Dell Poweredge 2600? Anyone tried it with SME 7.x?
Post by: Trenatos on February 11, 2011, 06:42:37 AM
So I find myself looking at a really nice deal for one or more Dell Poweredge 2600's and I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with them?
(Man, a list of supported server hardware would be nice) I know it's a legacy machine but it should do just fine for myself and for smaller networks.

Generally, if hardware is supported by Centos 4.5 then SME 7.5.1 is OK

For SME 8 try Centos 5.x

These are the places to look.
