I'm experimenting with SME 7.5 on an IBM e206 server.
I have an LSI MegaRAID PCI card with drivers for Red Hat Linux 7.2, 7.3, 8.0 and 9.0. Would any of those be appropriate for SME 7.5.
Thanks

You´ll need drivers to Centos 4.x or RHEL4.x.
Try to find out updated drivers at manufacture´s web site.
Good luck.

Thanks.
The above are the only ones listed on the manufacturer's site.
I've no idea what the relationship between Red Hat Linux and RHEL is, but from your comment I suspect none of these drivers are usable.
The card presents attached drives to the OS as hde, hdf, hdg and hdh which the SME installer configures as a RAID 5 array over three discs plus a spare, and which isn't what I want. I only want two drives as a RAID 1 array with the other two for additional storage.
Is there any way of manually configuring RAID within the install, as most distributions permit?

Disconnect two drives. Install SME server, which will bind those two drives as RAID1. Attach the two additional drives, and do whatever you want with them.

Excellent.
Many thanks.
