Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply and apologies for not having posted more fully.

Yes, using SME8b6

Tried using the process described in the Wiki - get contrib not found nothing to do.

Tried using the workaround described in the referenced post - get repository not found.

Have looked through distro.ibiblio.org and can find no references to smeserver-phpadmin apart from in /smeserver/releases/7.5.1/smecontribs/i386/RPMS which is not a valid baseurl for a repository.

Does this give you sufficient information ?

already tried that - does not work

by the way - same problem with smeserver-diskusage

also a darrell may contribution - a pattern emerges (perhaps)

Is this ok [y/N]:

everything is working as expected, so I'm quite sure it's a problem on your side

Magic ! It works.

As you say it must have been me, but I cannot understand why as I cut and pasted the commands in exactly the same way on each occasion.

Grateful thanks to both Mary and Stephano for taking the time to help this confused oldie.

Yes, using SME8b6
Then yout question is off-topic for this forum, moving it to General Discussion where it is more appropriate.

Hi I have been battleing with this for some time now, and i finally got it working, just a note with those that might still be having a problem, when i put the following in:

db yum_repositories set sme7contribs repository \
 GPGCheck yes \
 MirrorList http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/mirrorlist/smecontribs-7 \
 Name 'SME 7 - contribs' \
 Visible no \
 status disabled

i was copying and pasting all together instead of putting in one line at a time.

hey presto everything worked sweet. Becoming lazy and looking for the short cut. Well after reloading several times and just about to throw V8 out, now back on track for converting to V8.

thanks
John

Hi Sorry for opening this again, but i have just done another SME8 B6 server, and followed the steps above to the letter, (several times), but i keep getting "desolving errors."
I installed vacation without any errors
Does any one have any ideas?
