Title: Zarafa Management

Dear Support,
My SME 7.5.1 running Zarafa
i has installed files "zarafa-6.40.5-rhel4-i386", and "smeserver-zarafa-0.9.0-53.el4.sme.noarch.rpm"
Everything is working normal :
- Webaccess is working fine,
- Receiving External mail is working fine (Using Fetchmail : http://wiki.contribs.org/Fetchmail)

But, i can not send the email,
Because i can not manage the account from "Users and groups management for Zarafa" web base
The Zarafa Management is Blank, when i am trying to update the configuration.

Is that any how to fix this problem?

smeserver-zarafa contrib is unsupported and no more developed AFAIK..

Hi !

i had wrote the panel for the contribs smeserverzarafa.

I think  zarafa -> 6.40.4 dont work on sme 7.5.1 because php or mysql version.

I try the contribs on sme 8 with zarafa 6.40.5, work ok and the panel too.

What do you modify on the smeserver zarafa rpm?

How-to install Zarafa on SME 7.5.1

1. Download and install php5-cgi

php5-cgi-5.2.8-2.el4.sme.i386.rpm
php5-cgi-imap-5.2.8-2.el4.sme.i386.rpm
php5-cgi-ldap-5.2.8-2.el4.sme.i386.rpm
php5-cgi-mysql-5.2.8-2.el4.sme.i386.rpm
php5-cgi-pear-5.2.8-2.el4.sme.i386.rpm
php5-cgi-xmlrpc-5.2.8-2.el4.sme.i386.rpm
smeserver-php5-cgi-1.0-2.el4.sme.noarch.rpm

Follow carefully the contrib.

2. Follow the zarafa contrib.

3. Download and install zarafa-6.40.5-24860.i386.rpm. If you need, install latest z-push for your mobile-phone. Follow carefully the z-push instructions.

4. Download zarafa-6.40.5-24860-suse10.2-i586.tar.gz. Extract that file somewhere. Copy from the extracted file  usr/lib/php5/mapi.so and usr/share/php/mapi/* to the equivalent sme-directories. Use the search function in the zarafa-forum to find more information. (How to extract files from rpm.)

5. Check your httpd.conf and your php.ini settings.

6. Create a zarafa-user in the server-manager.

7. Start zarafa.

This worked for me - still working every day. No problems so far. ActiveSync (mails, calendar, contacts, tasks) with z-push and Nokia E7-00 is working fine.
