http://www.horde.org/ (http://www.horde.org/)
it seems that the new version was released
I wander if it is a huge working load to put it on sme8
sorry if I'm wrong with the this post but it seems more appropriate to sme8 to me

I agree with you but I would also hope that Wordpress 3.xx build is included instead of the old 1-2 version build. This is 2011 after all.
peace

Perhaps you have never installed SME server. No version of wordpress has ever been included.
Please note also that it is considered impolite to hijack a thread. Wordpress is not horde.

Interrupt if you got your names confused, and you were talking about horde;
if you are using SME 8b6, you should have Horde V3
My SME 8b6 reports: Horde 3.3.11
If for some reason you have older version than that, try this:
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs update
But if you were talking about wordpress in this thread, like Charlie said:
.... it is considered impolite to hijack a thread. Wordpress is not horde.
As far as Horde V4, it looks nice on their web page, but I had so many problems with previous version (destroying html emails and destroying email when forwarding them) I started to use SME contrib Group Office, it handles emails much better.
But if Horde4 has fixed their previous issues, I might give it a try again.
Interested to try it out once Horde4 makes it into SME 8.

Dear calsium,
I have used also group office, but while this will be the official SME web mail frontend I think horde should be updated
my basic principle is to keep the default one if it is already there - otherwise you'll have some resources spent for nothing
If the decision will go to change this default one Ok, but as long as it is the default one should be updated

Work is being done, but I am not sure it will make it into SME Server 8.x: http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6653
Just as a reminder, things like this are normally tracked in the bug tracker, so make sure you search that as well.
