well, obviously, reinstall and restore from the backup.. you DO have a backup, don't you?

p.s. tell us E X A C T L Y what you did.. maybe you can recover everything..

Actually i dont.
It was a fresh install, i use 2 500 G Disk raid1 for system and 4X2 tb raid 0 for data
I installw webmin setup the raid 0 for data
create a /mnt/bigdisk
mount the raid
copy /home/e-smith/files
check with diff
then ln -s
but somehow i deleted the original /home/e-smith/files
I' m doing a new install now
Is there anyway to install it in a single disk noraid
then add the second 500G and made it raid 1?  and then add the raid 0?

If you use raid0, then you should expect to lose data. If you have a problem with any of the disks you will lose the lot.

And if you install webmin on SME server, you should expect to have problems too.

No. But if you do a default install you can then add the second disk to change from degraded raid1 to mirrored raid1. "noraid" means what it says.

Why would you want to install a single disk noraid, and then add a second and make it raid1?
