Title: After uninstalling FreePBX cannot login as root
Post by: Funkenschuster on August 25, 2011, 11:27:16 AM
Yesterday I installed FreePBX. Because of an error of freePBX i deinstalled it. Afer rebooting the server im not able to log in as admin or root because the password is not correct.

Because I think there is no possibility to reset the password i will install a new server but I'm interestet why the password of the admin account had been changed without my intervention.

I think this should be in the Contribs section.
Moving

Note:   Do not reinstall at this stage, you may have found a bug and it should be reported at Bugzilla.
PS: also, there is  a way to reset root pasword, check the Wikis,

what about reading the wiki?

http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation:FAQ#Reset_the_root_and_admin_password (http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation:FAQ#Reset_the_root_and_admin_password)

this should be done in front of that computer
