Title: Corporate image in outgoing emails
Post by: morpion on September 29, 2011, 12:35:39 PM
Hello all

My company wants to have their new logo appear in all outbound emails. They currently have a disclaimer text thanks to SME server's handy little disclaimer system but I cannot work out if it's possible to add a picture.

Unfortunately this is a feature which MicroShaft Exchange server offers and they like the idea of boosting their ego

Does anyone have any idea how I might be able to manage this with SME server?

Thanks in advance for any responses.
regards
Mike

Maybe you could try adding a link to an image stored on your corporate website? That would also give you the ability to track by IP address which machines are opening the email. This is of course horrible from the recipient's standpoint but clearly the manager that wants this doesn't care what the recipients think.

I would agree, with more people living via cell phone having long html disclaimers sucks. I tend not to take those doing that serious, otherwise they wouldn't waste my time with the extra bs.

Guess you might say I'm a BOFH

Moving to General Discussions, more appropriate there.

Instead of thru SME could you create some "stationary" for them in outlook or thunderbird?
