Darren,

Mine works fine on 5.5. Mind you it was an update and not a fresh install.

I've got the same problem. There's just "Not Availables" for almost all items. Only the Mounted Filesystems are shown. In my php.ini safe_mode is off. So that's not the problem.

I seem to remember that when I updated one of my boxes from 4.1.2 to 5.1.2b4 I had a similar problem.  I think the php scripts in the v5 software are limited to getting files from their own folder only and can no longer wander about the system gathering data.

Maybe the people who have it working are running the phpSysInfo script from within the primary html folder which has special access.  Just a thought.

I think there was a fix, but I never bothered trying it.

Try checking the archive for phpsysinfo problem.

Bill.

is this the sollution?
Quote
/sbin/e-smith/db accounts setprop fool PHPBaseDir /home/e-smith/files/ibays/fool/:/proc
where fool is the ibay where phpSysInfo is.
And, without any surprise, it works (after signal-event).
I'm not sure what this means. Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks

This turns PHP Sandboxing off.

PHP Sandboxing makes sure the user on your system can't run their custom PHP script that attack your server, PHP can only do stuff in the ibay it is located in and not in a differend ibay.

I turned it off on my server since im the only one running PHP on it.
