Title: SQL Server Active Directory Helper error

hi! i just want to ask how to resolve this error to my SQL Server, im using MS SQL 2005 and the OS is Win 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise 32bit.. my Active directory is the SME 8.0 beta 6. Then i try to create an ODBC.. i cannot create.. this error can affect to my non-windows active directory?.. I hope anyone can give me how to solve or idea for this.. THANK YOU in advance..  :-? :-? :-?

SME Server does not provide Active Directory functionality. It provides NT4 style domain functions, which is from the pre Active Directory era. Creating an ODBC should not be related to this. Apart from that you do not tell us what the error is wand what steps you executed that resulted in the error.

I guess you are trying to create an odbc entry onyour windows server, aren't you?

if so, if you are logged on windows as administrator you should not have any problem..
anyway, there's nothing SME is involved in
