Title: wrong remote ip client with: sme(gateway+vpnserver)+2008R2(domain+dhcp+dns)
Post by: vanyie on November 08, 2011, 05:00:12 PM
Can i force sme to give only a restricted ip range when i connect from remote?

I configured sme 7.5.1 as gateway and vpn server, then i disabled dhcp server and configure win 2008 R2 to act as domain controller (so as dhcp/dns server) and another 2008R2 as application server
Now when i connetc to sme from remote in vpn session, i receive an IP already used by 2008R2ApplicationServer and i can't connect to it

Otherwise, can i avoid sme use ip already used from windows client? Perhaps i should configure sme to use win2008r2 as dns server?

Thanks in advance to all
Gian
