To all,
I have recently upgraded from SME Server 5.1 to 5.5 and have had a large amount of problems with it since.
So far I have not been able to resolve the domain name on the server, squid has now gotten me banned from IRC thanks to it reporting that I have an unsecure proxy server running and that's gotten me stumped, hmm, what else....if I type into my browser the domain name of the server I get page cannot be displayed and yet named is running, and yet if I type the IP I get the server, apparently Apache 1.3.22 is insecure also. I have downloaded and installed the latest blades available for 5.5 and it hasn't had much difference. I have also setup my other windows machine to use the SME server as a primary nameserver and that doesn't work either.
WTF is going on with this installation or version of SME????
If anyone can help provide solutions it would be appreciated.
