Title: SMF Email notifications

Hi all
I have had soo much success with this style of forum, I am thinking of using the SMF contrib in my shop. I was wondering does a user get an email notification of a response to their post in SMF like it does with contribs.org?

If you configure things properly, they should. But you are far better of tetsing it yourself, asking SME Server related issues in our forums and SMF related issues in their forums.

Hi Catcus

I had looked around the SMF configs, and SMF forum site and SME contribs.org and didnt find anything related to email notifications. I had setup a small test between my username and admin and did not get an email response on either account.
So before spending to much time I would ask first.

I found it
Profile - Notifications and Email - Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic. make sure it is checked.
I think default is unchecked. Looking around I could not find a global setting for this.

There should be when you are logged in as admin.
