Title: VPN Connects, But Nothing Happens
Post by: Dave on July 15, 2002, 07:46:50 PM
When I VPN into my server from a Win2k machine, it connects, but nothing appears in Network Neighbourhood.  When it does connect, it warns that not all protocals have been authorized, but allows you to waive those protocals in favour of others.  Any ideas?

I think you will find that WinSCP better meets most requirements since NetBIOS and some other protocols aren't supported over VPN connections.  You can review the functionality and download the software at http://winscp.vse.cz/eng/.  Make sure Port 22 is open on your firewall if you have one.

Thanks for the input.  I'll give it a try
