Title: Installing Drupal 7.2 on SME Server 7.5.1
Post by: Joshua on January 03, 2012, 10:37:25 AM
I have installed php5-cgi on my sme server 7.5.1, but I have trouble my PHP configuration only supports the SQLite database type. How to install PDO database extension for PHP on SME Server 7.5.1?

Installing on 7.5.1 is a bit of a mission, you need to install php v5 and run it separately; it is not a clean or easy task, having said that, I have just written a HOWTO for Drupal on SME Sever 8beta6 and 8beta7.

Your options are:
(1) Install php 5 and then follow http://wiki.contribs.org/Drupal (http://wiki.contribs.org/Drupal) and when you upgrade to SME Server v8 you will be best to do a completely new re-install of SME Server and Drupal per option (2)
(2) Use SME Server v8 beta and follow http://wiki.contribs.org/Drupal (http://wiki.contribs.org/Drupal)

Cheers
