Hi all,
my 3Com 3c905B 100BaseTX seems to be holding back the improved speed of my internet connection. Therefore I want to upgrade it to a Gbit PCI Network card.
I looked around, but a lot of current NIC's are equipped with Realteks 8169 chipset, which looks like a bad decision from driver support in the SMEServer kernel.
Any ideas which NIC is a good option for me?

Nobody?
'Found' an Asus NX1101 at work, will check if it works by the trial and error methode :-)

Many Broadcom chipsets work well too.
