I've got something strange, I think.
I made a fresh install of SME8b7 (on VirtualBox) and made 5 user-accounts. I have tested 3 of them now and one of the User homedir's is not visible as a network-share on my Win7 laptop, but is visible on my old winXP machine.
The other 2 user accounts are visible on a Vista and a Win7 laptop. The problem is, it's my user homedir that's not visible!
I have found something about Samba and Win7, but that was about a prior SME8 beta. And one of the other user homedir's is visible on Win7. The one on which the user homedir is visible is Win7 64bits, could that be it?
Samba version is samba3x-3.5.4-0.83.el5_7.2, kernel is 2.6.18-274.17.1.el5

I think I found something. While looking in the logs, I found out I'm probably logged in as admin. This is what the log says:
[2012/01/26 19:06:14.964188, 1] smbd/service.c:1070(make_connection_snum)
laptop-01 (192.168.0.10) connect to service muziek initially as user admin (uid=101, gid=101) (pid 2968)
So, this means I have to find in my own Win7 laptop, because I definitely don't log-in as admin.

Yes, I was right.
Someway, in user-accounts in Win7 there was a user-reference for the SME-server, which made me log-in as admin.

Thanks for sharing this and that you solved it.
