SME comes with MySQL Database server and PHP/Python/Perl scripting standard. If you are wanting to build a web based database application, I would recommend checking out phpbuilder.com -- they have a wide variety of articles & forums that discuss initial startup to advanced topics.

Your subject line makes me wonder if your talking about Microsoft ASP pages -- if so, there is a package called Chili!Soft at www.chilisoft.com that can provide ASP support on Linux (SME) -- however, this is about $550.

If you're running SME 5.0 or later, a database server is already running--it's there for the webmail system, but it can be used for whatever else you'd want an SQL server for.
