Hi,
I tried to install sme8b7 on a fujitsu tx150 s4. After the installation the firstboot did not work, I only got a flashing cursor.
The installation of sme7 went fine, the server is booting ... any suggestions ?

Data sheet for that hardware HERE (http://www.fujitsu.com/downloads/PRMRGY/catalog-tx150-s4.pdf) shows RHEL V3 and 4 are supported on that hardware, as I understand it SME 8 is CentOS 5.# so RHEL V5.

Try booting to the CD, also try booting in Rescue mode from the CD.
Read the log files to see where it hangs in the startup process.
Try disabling non essential features and advanced features in the BIOS.
Report a bug to bugzilla

I'd also check and verify that the install media is good.
