Post by: soundrolf on February 22, 2012, 09:27:27 PM
Hi,
I am using SME 7.5.1. In phpsysinfo the bar in Percent Capacity is RED and nearly 97%
Whats goin wrong ? After a reboot it is GREEN and close to 23% . Then it will go up to 97%

Intel Xeon Dual Core Prozessor 3GHz, 2GB RAM, Raid1 2x 250GB Sata

Capacity of what? Harddisk usage? CPU usage? Memory usage? Swap usage?

Ok, its the Memory usage. It's just a Question. The Server runs well.

That might still indicate a problem, you need to find out what process is taking up more and more memory. For linux servers, in comparison to windows servers, is is normal to have a high CPU usage, as they have a better priority system, for memory to max out is not normal, certainly not 2Gb IMHO.

As far as I know, that actually *is* normal as SME will use as much memory as possible for caching, reclaiming it as necessary. So no worries!

I don't agree...I depends entirely on what you are doing.

Again, I disagree.
