Title: clam ERROR: Malformed database [Solved]
Post by: crazybob on April 22, 2012, 08:06:15 PM
I keep getting the following message every week when my server attempts to run a virus scan
ERROR: Malformed database

----------- SCAN SUMMARY -----------
Known viruses: 0
Engine version: 0.97
Scanned directories: 0
Scanned files: 0
Infected files: 0
Data scanned: 0.00 MB
Data read: 0.00 MB (ratio 0.00:1)
Time: 0.019 sec (0 m 0 s)

I have tried deleting the database and doing a freshclam from a command prompt, and when I try to run a scan I still get the same message. Searching google has rendered little help.

Charlie.
Can i make a suggestion.
I know this sort of thing needs to go into the bug tracker, but most people will post here first.
Can the 2 systems be integrated so its easy to move a post to the tracker or promote a post to the tracker.

Can the 2 systems be integrated ...

Not without a huge amount of work - so, "no".
