Title: htop collapse processors
Post by: kruhm on April 25, 2012, 11:44:02 PM
Hi Everyone,

Managing a server with 4 Xeon quad-core processors. It shows as 16 processors on htop. Great, love that htop does that for me. Issue is that it takes up a large chunk of screen real estate making it difficult to see the processes.

Anyone know a way to collapse/minimize the processors?

Thanks in advance.

Did you actually look in htop or try to change the setup ?

htop
F2
Settings
Meters
highlight the unwanted meter
add meters or remove meters from the left or right columns using the in context F keys displayed at bottom

Hi Mary,

Thanks for your quick reply. I don't think the forums would be the same without your help.

I did look at: man htop. I didn't want to go tinkering around in htop without some advice.

Thanks again for always lending a helping hand!

Thanks,
