I have created the driver disk for my RAID-controller, but i dont know how to use it :)
Could anybody tell me how to use driver disk (just the disk created from drivers.img)?

Ivan,
If it is a proper driver disk, then when installing SME 5.1.2, upon booting the CD, type in :
accept dd
instead of just 'accept'. You will then be prompted for your driver disk during installation.

Hello, Kelvin.
I have SME 5.5 and there is no command prompt. There is pseudo graphic menu and all actions is made by pressing menu buttons :) I mean there is no ability to type: accept dd :(
By the way: The driver disk is made according to your manual for making driver disk for HPT 370. Will it work on SME 5.5 if i compile it under Linux Red Hat 7.2 (SME 5.5 doesnt include Kernel source and MAKE)
I tried to load hpt37x2.o by INSMOD manually, but the SME 5.5 told "uresolved symbols". Under Red Hat 7.2 i solved this problem by loading scsi_mod and sd_mod, but i didnt find these modules in SME 5.5. What should i do for get my hpt370 working?

Hi Ivan,
I have not looked seriously at 5.5 yet. Will do so and let you know.

Hi,
Just let me put another related question: I don't boot from CD at 5.1.2, booting from Floppy!
accept dd don't work!
Do you have any type

Hi Jader,
It's been awhile since I did this but I'm fairly certain even if you boot from the SME 5.1.2 boot floppy you have to type accept (which means you can type accept dd).

Kelvin,
Thanks by your answer.
I have tried "accept dd" but I never ask for drivers disk!
When it should to ask for it? Before or after blue screen of Mitel?
Do you have any ideas why it don't ask for that disk?
Thanks!
