Title: SOGo MS Outlook support

Does SOGo on SME server 8 (when installed) have MS Outlook support as per the sogo.nu site or does that still have to be configured?

are you referring to SOGo 1.3.X or 2.X?

Well, I followed the instructions here http://wiki.contribs.org/Sogo so it must be SOGo 1.3

then, please, explain what you mean with "MS Outlook support" :-)

some features of SOGo towards outlook are in SOGo v.2 only

Can you please help then or point me in the direction of documentation on upgrading to SOGo 2 on SME Server 8?

you can't..
SOGo2 (and native Outlook support) needs samba4.. and you can't upgrade to samba4 on SME

Hi,

is there maybe a possibility to use Sogo 1.3 in combination with Openchange to have full Outlook support?

It's difficult to convince our secretary to change from Outlook to Thunderbird :-)

It would be great if there is a way.

I don't think so..
if you need such a feature, you should think about 2 servers: a SME one (users) and one with SOGo.. SOGo will use SME's users via ldap..

Not sure about SOGo, but you can try eGroupware. I am using it, and I love it
