Hi
Subject:
Webmail - Can you add a (Mark As) title ?
For contact management I wondered if there is someplace in Horde Webmail to actually add these (mark as) status
The current list is limited to:
Seen
Unseen
Flagged for Followup
No Flagged
Answered
Unanswered
Draft
Not Draft
I was wondering if there is a way to add to this fore example:
Left Message - Pending Followup
2nd Followup
Wrong Phone Number
Gave Information
Not Home Call Back
Things like this ?
Please advise
Thanks

You are asking for support for "custom IMAP Flags". You would likely need updated versions of horde (or backport the custom IMAP FLAG support):
http://lists.horde.org/archives/announce/2011/000608.html
and would probably need an updated version and probably different configuration for dovecot (the IMAP daemon).
I would guess that you do not have the skillset to be able to make such changes.

LOL
I figured this, I could probably figure it out but I don't feel comfortable changing the base SME install of horde in that way because I probably would not be able to fix it if I could make these changes
Thanks
P.S
Is there a contrib contact management that you know of that will allow taking notes for each contact and setting categories like this or something similar
Basically sales leads and customer lists but with notes and someway to track levels of interest. Nothing as massive as ACT but something SME server level ?

you could take a look to SOGo (http://wiki.contribs.org/Sogo)

Google for 'CRM LAMP' for a large range of options. Or 'site:contribs.org crm' for SME server specific information.

Nice thanks, I'm reviewing it now and brought to my attention the the Horde addressbook again
I created new address books which I've done before and imported leads to that addressbook and now it seems to show the address book in order to move contacts to that book which did not show in the (move to pulldown window in the past.
So perhaps I can use Horde for this after all to create address books and importing leads to a particular address book then select and move them to another address book as needed instead of trying to use categories
Thanks

If only I could use any email client via imap and simply allow the contact lists I create and import on the client side to also be created and moved around easily on the server side as well
I don't think the server will allow the creation of the address books / lists via the email client such as Thunderbird

SOGo + Thunderbird ESR + SOGo's Thunderbird addons do what you are asking.
